The Voice Assistant enables the application to convert the voice inputs recieved into text, analyse the text for key phrases, frame a relevant response and translate the response into voice to conclude a seamless interaction.

HOW IT WORKS

A speech recognition software works by breaking and analyzing a sound wave into smaller segments and matching those segments with known phonemes - a representation of the sound we make. The next step is a complex examination of phonemes in the context of the other phonemes around them to make out phrases and sentences. An analog-to-digital converter translate these cluster of phonemes into digital data that a software can understand. 

 The software is taught to look for key words and phrases, then based on algorithms and previous input, it makes a highly accurate and educated guess as to what is being said. The artificial intelligence driven voice assistant then matches the input with responses it has been taught and the natural language processing converts the response into voice to conclude a conversation.
